Picnic area chart

Picnic areas may be used for family events, parties, picnics, and reunions.

Visit Before Reserving!

All of our buildings are unique and offer different features. This chart is designed to help you identify which building will best satisfy your needs. We encourage you to visit the park activity building you've chosen before reserving and paying for the rental. Maximum building capacities are strictly enforced, so be sure to reserve a building large enough to accommodate your group size.

* = Parking spaces are first-come, first-served and are shared by shelter renters, ballfield renters and park users. Parking can be minimal during athletic events. Vehicles are not permitted to drive up to shelters to unload or deliver supplies.
+ = Equipment package (for group picnic areas only) includes: 2 softballs, 2 softball bats, volleyball, volleyball net, frisbee, football, and 4 horseshoes (12 for Cabin John).
^ = Group picnic area alcohol policy - ONLY beer and wine may be consumed from paper and plastic cups within the group picnic area. No glass bottles or other alcoholic beverages are allowed. Maryland State law as to age of consumption applies.
