General Getty Neighborhood Park

It is one of Montgomery County's youngest parks, having been completed in 1998. The park packs a large number of recreational features into a relatively small (3.8-acre) area. It features playgrounds, tennis courts, and a picnic area (including gazebo). Players of chess, checkers, and other tabletop games should enjoy the outdoor game-table area. A special feature of the park is a semicircular pergola encompassing garden beds.
