Family Activities
The Montgomery County Department of Parks and Planning Department host a number of activities for kids and kids at heart.
Miniature Trains
Located in two of our regional parks, Cabin John Regional Park in Rockville and Wheaton Regional Park in Wheaton. Fun for the young and the young at heart is provided. Rides are only $1.50 per person, and discount ticket books of 10 tickets for $13 are available. Please call the park of your choice for operating hours and information.
Carousel
Wheaton Regional Park contains a lovely and historic carousel. Rides are just $1.50 per person, and discount ticket books of 10 tickets for $13 are available. Please call the park for operating hours and other information.

Boating & Fishing
Launch your own boat or canoe, or rent one of ours, by the hour or day at one of our two lakes. Fishing licenses are available. Also, pontoon boat rides are available in season.
